I am a non-narrative filmmaker and media arts scholar working in the areas of experimental video art, documentary films and dance. I hold an MPhil degree in English Literature and a master’s degree in cinema studies respectively. I was formerly a tenured associate professor of English Literature at the University of Delhi college, India and taught at the undergraduate level for almost a decade before moving to SF bay area, California. At present, I work as an independent film and video content creator and an adjunct film studies and production Professor. I also serve as the Arts Commissioner of San Mateo County representing district 2.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS  

Research and Academic Instruction: Undergraduate teaching experience in the dual fields of English Literature and cinema studies. 

Film Programming and Film Festival Work: Knowledge and experience of work at various film festivals in the SF/Bay Area. Specific expertise in the areas of film programming and prescreening. 

Video and Film Production Work: Completed various short videos and documentary projects in digital format. Technical proficiency in working with Canon digital cameras.
